The Player Development Coordinator (PDC) is the director of our Premier team program. The PDC is a non-parent coach responsible for planning and facilitating the minicamps held for the Premier teams. Additionally, the PDC acts the head coach for all Premier teams while competing in tournaments.
We are excited to introduce, Nick Lund, as our PDC for the 2027 season. Nick has an extensive hockey background rooted in the Grand Forks area.
Nick played four years of varsity high school hockey for both the East Grand Forks Green Wave and the Grand Forks Central Knights. Nick's junior career took him to the North American Hockey League (NAHL) and the Ontario Junior Hockey League (OJHL). Nick went on to playing Division III college hockey at Adrian College and Marian University.
After his playing career, Nick came back to Grand Forks. He has been involved in coaching with Grand Forks Youth Hockey. He runs skill development skating sessions and his own camps.
We are looking forward to Nick leading the way for our Premier team program!
